Question: Do you charge extra for using a credit card or debit card?
Answer: NO WAY. Some of our competitors do charge a credit card/debit card fee of up to 4% when you check out. We believe this is simply a cost of business and we do not believe in penalizing you for doing business with us.
Question: How do I purchase a Firearm online?
Answer: Choose the Firearm you want and add it to your cart, and proceed through the checkout, same as with buying anything else online. Keep in mind we will NOT ship ANY Firearm directly to you; you must make arraignments with a FFL Dealer in your area to accept shipment of the Firearm. They must send a signed copy of their FFL to us at Sales@FirstShotVa.com. You will need to take possession of the Firearm from that Dealer; most charge a small fee for this Dealer Transfer. If you need help locating a local FFL dealer, please let us know and we will help you locate one.
Question: Do you charge a transfer Fee if I order a Firearm online from someone else and take delivery from you?
Answer: Yes we do charge a small $15 Transfer Fee to cover our costs.
Question:When I buy a firearm from First Shot, how long does the process take?
Answer: Approximately 3-5 business days for processing. This enables us to confirm your order details, receive a copy of your dealer's FFL for transfer, and prepare your order for shipping. You will be notified of shipping via Email shortly there after.
Question: What payment types do you accept?
Answer: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Money Orders. We will also accept cash for our local customers as well.
Question: What if I dont see the Firearm I want on your website?
Answer: Our inventory changes daily and we don't always get everything published on our website before it's sold. If you don't see the Firearm you want contact us at Sales@FirstShotVa.com. If we dont have it in stock, we can probably get it and will give you the best deal possible.
Question: Do you charge extra for special orders?
Answer: No. We will order any Firearm you want and get you the best possible deal so long as it is legal for you to purchase it, and legal for us to ship it to your state. All Federal and State Laws apply to ALL Firearms sales. It is always your responsibility to know your local and state firearms laws.
Question: When I place an order online at your website, can I pick it up at your store?
Answer: Yes, You Can! We have flexible hours and will make sure you can pick up your order when you need it, just contact us at sales@firstshotva.com and let us know what your schedule looks like and we will be happy to open up after hours 7 days a week so you can Get It When You Need It. When placing your order on our website, choose More Carriers and Select In-Store Pickup so you will NOT be charged for shipping. Sales Tax Applies to VA residents. When you do come in, make sure you bring all the necessary forms of ID to prevent delays.
